Background
I began watercolor painting late is life. Years after retiring as a university professor of economics, I took several watercolor classes at the Senior Center in Tallahassee.
With that training, love of watercolor painting blossomed, and there the studio was born. With my Italian heritage, the name , of course, had to be Italian. Plus, it sounds artistic, and the Renaissance was an Italian thing.
All art displayed here are original pieces. Most are based on inspirational photographs, obtained on line. Some photos have been supplied by my children, which helps to make this a family affair. My specialty focuses on landscapes, waterscapes. and desertscapes, Though I have occasionally painted birds and have done commissioned works. All work is on 9x12 inch, 140 pound cold pressed paper.
